Braces

This is a great time to wear braces! Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can choose brackets that are clear (ceramic) or metallic. You can choose the color of the ties that hold the wire in the brackets, or you can choose brackets with no elastic ties at all! Wires are also less noticeable than they used to be and the latest materials move teeth with less discomfort to patients.

Invisalign

Our orthodontists are Certified Invisalign Providers!

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign uses a series of clear and removable aligners to gently guide teeth to a straighter position. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology. Since Invisalign is removable, the aligners can be taken out to eat and drink all the foods you enjoy now, and they can be removed to brush and floss normally!

How does Invisalign work?

You wear each set of aligners for 2 weeks at a time.  You can remove them to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position your orthodontist has prescribed. You'll visit our office about once every 6 to 8 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time and number of aligners worn during treatment will vary from case to case.

Retainers & Appliances

Appliances can be used to expand the upper jaw in children or to achieve certain tooth movements.  Retainers are also a very important part in maintaining the success of your orthodontic treatment by keeping your teeth from moving after the braces have been completed.
